عبد القدیر آزاد، راوى ناگفته هاى تاریخ ایران (گفتگو با منصوره آزاد، دختر مرحوم عبدالقدیر آزاد) مجید سائلى کُرده ده عبد القدیر آزاد از نوادگان شیخ ملاهادى سبزوارى و متولد سبزوار است. او از دوران جوانى قدم در صحنۀ مبارزه براى استقلال ایران و مشروطیت گذاشت. به مشروطه خواهى، استقلال، میهن پرستى، مبارزه طلبى وآزادى خواهى شوق وافرداشت. نمایندة مجلس شوراى ملى در دوره هاى پانزدهم و شانزدهم بود. دلسوزى و عشق او به سربلندى و سرافرازى میهن باعث درد سر ها و گرفتارى هاى بسیارى براى او گردید. درسراسر عمر خود از مبارزه براى کوتاه کردن دست اجانب در مقدرات کشور و لغو امتیازات بیگانگان دست برنداشت و در این راه حبس هاى متعدد و طولانى، شکنجه ها، سلول هاى انفرادى، تهدیدها، افتر اها، تهمت ها و ناامنى هاى زیادى را تحمل کرد. او تنها به یک چیز فکر مى کرد: استقلال واقعى کشور و در این راه با رضا شاه، محمد رضا شاه، گروه هاى مختلف و حتى دوستان خود نیز درگیر شد. ایران، موجودیت خود را مدیون چنین انسان هاى از خود گذشته و فداکارى است که عمرشان را در این راه گذاشتند. لطفا برای خواندن متن کامل مصاحبه مجید سائلى کُرده ده

Norouz - نوروز

 نوروز  سخن تازه از نوروز گفتن دشوار است. نوروز یک جشن ملی است، جشن ملی را همه می شناسند که چیست، نوروز هر ساله برپا می شود و هر ساله از آن سخن می رود. بسیار گفته اند و بسیار شنیده اند؛ پس به تکرار نیازی نیست؟! چرا، هست.مگر نوروز را خود مکرر نمی کنید؟ پس سخن از نوروز را نیز مکرر بشنوید.  در علم و ادب تکرار ملال آور است و بیهوده؛ «عقل» تکرار را نمی پسندد؛ اما «احساس» تکرار را دوست دارد، «طبیعت» تکرار را دوست دارد، «جامعه» به تکرار نیازمند است. طبیعت را از تکرار ساخته اند؛ جامعه با تکرار نیرومند می شود،¹ احساس با تکرار جان می گیرد² و نوروز داستان زیبایی است که در آن، طبیعت، احساس و جامعه هر سه دست اندرکارند. [ ۲]: تفتازانی در باب تکرار می گوید که از معایب سخن است، الا در ذکر محبوب، که نه تنها جایز است، که تکرار نام و یاد او، به سخن فضیلت می دهد. نوروز که قرن های دراز است بر همه ی جشن های جهان فخر می فروشد، از آن رو «هست» که یک قرارداد مصنوعی اجتماعی و یا یک جشن تحمیلی سیاسی نیست، جشن جهان است و روز شادمانی زمین، آسمان و آفتاب، و جوشِ شِکُف

In an attempt to avoid total war and destruction, various treaties, rules and regulations in the context of multilateral organizations have been agreed upon. Our participation in Asian Cultural Festival and Miss Asia 2019

By: Manochehr Kasaei On Saturday, April 20th 2019, Persian Community of Kansas City proudly participated in Asian Cultural Festival, as well as the first Miss Asia contest in Overland Park, Kansas.  We had Saba Music Band performing several songs, Heart of America Middle Eastern and Belly Dance Group performed a beautiful group dance, Paniz Borzoofard performed a piece of music with Flute, and Parisa Karimi performed two solo dances.  Keep an eye on our YouTube channel as they will be published there.  We also had a booth, where we showcased many Persian crafts and handwork.  Many thanks to Mrs. Taheri and her husband, Mark for hosting the booth this year. We are hoping that by participating in programs like these would be able to showcase some positive aspects of Iranian culture and heritage.

Our loving community

In reviewing our history, Iranians were mostly always inclusive, lending out a hand when possible to fellow citizens, extremely hospitable to other nations, and always have an extra seat or will to make room for another at our dining tables. This is a strong trait to have and one to be proud of – even today – under excruciating sanctions, our citizens still are hospitable to those visiting from other lands and make room for strangers at their dining room tables. Here, in our own backyard, this tradition continues until we mix in other variables such as entrepreneurship, cultural growth or promotion, demonstrating civilian rights – eventually becoming one voice when our country might be taken advantage of. Sooo what’s the big deal? Why should we care? It’s not our business – we’ve moved on … we’re raising children, we have great jobs, friends, and families ….. the rest is just noise or sometimes – it can be
